Description: Bone and bamboo Mah Jong tiles circa mid 1800 to the 1920’s. Suits include: Cracks, Bams, Dots, Winds, Dragons, Honor, and Seasons. Dia Kline has taken the most played game in the world and repurposed it into a unique line of jewelry. Handmade beads highlight and emphasize the beauty of the tiles. These tiles are dovetail jointed together and have hand carved bone tops, a true testament to the craftsman who made them.
Ranging from imported Chinese tiles to tiles made for export, these bracelets display the beauty of our past with a design for the present. Tile size average is 1’ by 3/4’. Size and color will vary from set. Three overlapping bead straps of subtle iridescent gray glass beads are strung mixed with distressed silver metal.
Strung on heavy-duty elastic cord, these bracelets are made to fit comfortably on an average size 7’ wrist, the elastic will accommodate for a larger size wrist. A smaller wrist will enjoy a looser fit, which can be tightened by simply flipping the tile over to add additional twisting to the strands. Please insert specific tile preference in the special request box during the checkout process.
